Q. Can I hear a Sample of your Drums with my Music?

A. Yes, send me an mp3 of your song and I will record a short section of your song for you to hear.

 

Q. Can I have some Sample Drum Tracks that I Can import into my DAW and try a mix?

A. Yes, just send me an email. Let me know if you have a specific Genre.

 

Q. What if my song is just over 4 minutes long?

A. If it is under 4:30  in length, regular rates apply. If it is over 4:30 add $10.

 

Q. How many different Takes will you record?

A. If you are able to communicate clearly to me what you want, I should be able to give you what you want                   within 3 takes maximum. 

Communication is key. After 3 Takes we should be able to nail down the Drum track or at least be very close to what you want that just minor tweaks are required.

     

Q. How long does it take to get the first take?

A. I usually only need 2 or 3 Business days but if for some reason I need longer, I will let you know before accepting a Deposit.

 

Q. What if I'm not happy with your Drum Track?

A. So far, all of my clients have been very happy but if for some reason you are not, I will keep the Deposit since I will have put time into your Project. However you do not have to pay the Balance.   

For me to learn a song, compose a great Drum part, record a perfect take, do any editing and create a mix takes an average of 4 or 5 hours, depending on the difficulty of the Track.

 

Q. I have never mixed Acoustic Drums before, is it very difficult?

A. Yes, there is quite a steep learning curve to mixing Acoustic Drums. I will send you a Mixed Stereo Drum Track that you can just drop in to your song and use. I will also make minor tweaks of the mix if required.

 

Q. What if I want Cowbell and Shaker or Tambourine and Conga Drums or Electronic Drum sounds?

A. Any extra Percussion Tracks can be dded, No Charge. I have a very extensive Library of Sampled Percussion             Instruments & Sampled Drums, which I can add to your Track.
